Avidia Bank will open its latest branch Monday at 196 Washington St. in Hudson.
The full service branch will replace the branch located across the street at 221 Washington St. in RK Plaza. The new branch offers walk-in and drive-up banking, a business night drop depository and drive-up ATM. New additions include a self-service coin machine, touch screens and access to a Tech Ambassador, who can help customers with the online and mobile banking.
There will also be an expanded branch team from the original location although employees will be retained from the previous location.
The stand-alone location will alleviate parking challenges of the former, plaza location.
The bank also renovated its downtown Hudson branch at 17 Pope St. and is renovating its headquarters at 42 Main St. in Hudson to become the bank’s corporate headquarters, which is expected to open later this summer.
Avidia Bank is a $1.9-billion mutual, community bank with additional locations in Westborough, Framingham, Leominster, Shrewsbury, Clinton, Northborough and Marlborough.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this story incorrectly said Avidia Bank had already opened the branch at 196 Washington St. in Hudson. The branch is opening on Monday.
