Aviation startup Alakai expands presence in Hopkinton

Alakai Technologies has increased its presence from roughly 12,200 square feet to 19,200 in Hopkinton.
Alakai Technologies, a company working on hydrogen fuel technology for aviation, has added 7,000 square feet to its offices at 86 South St. in Hopkinton.
Alakai increased its presence from roughly 12,200 square feet to 19,200. The company classifies itself as between 11 and 50 employees.
The privately-held company, which was founded in 2006, says its engineers are working on zero-emissions air mobility solutions.
The lease was announced by O'Brien Commercial Properties of Concord, which represented the property owner, JEEBO Management LLC, in the transaction.
