A Northborough family service organization focused on children with autism is moving to a 37,000-square-foot facility in Berlin.
The move by Autism Behavioral Center was announced by Lincoln Property Co. on Monday, but land records show the $2.3-million sale for 1 Whitney Road closed in February.
The new building will serve as the company’s new headquarters, about a 10-minute drive from the company’s headquarters in Northborough on West Main Street.Â
According to LPC, the transaction was financially feasible for ABC after a sale-leaseback with Holliston retailer Pure Hockey, the previous owner of the building.Â
With the move, the company is able to remain in the I-495 corridor. Representatives from ABC could not immediately be reached for comment.
