DTiQ in Framingham has selected John Donnelly to the newly created role of chief revenue officer.
DTiQ offers video intelligence, analytics, and managed solutions for restaurants and retail locations and a Digital Alpha Advisors, LLC portfolio company. Digital Alpha, which is based in Nevada, acquired DTiQ in 2021.
Donnelly has 25 years of experience and has worked with larger technology organizations such as Cisco Systems, Inc., Nokia Corp., and AT&T inc. Donnelley will oversee all DTiQ's sales, marketing, customer success, sales operations, and enablement functions and will be responsible for the company's go-to-market strategy. He will report to Marc Litz, the company's CEO.
"We are excited to have John join our team at such a pivotal growth moment for our company," Litz said in a press release on Thursday. "John clearly has a proven track record of success in leading sales and marketing teams of all sizes for companies in various growth stages, and in many different industries."
In October, DTiQ acquired Summit Innovations of Australia, a drive-thru timing and management solutions company. It will integrate the software into its video surveillance video systems that it has offered to restaurants and retail locations for more than 20 years.
Digital Alpha is an investment firm with total assets under management of over $1.5 billion and was founded in 2017 by Rick Shrotri, former head of the Global Infrastructure Funds team at Cisco.
