Atrius Signs Agreement With VNA
Atrius Health, which includes Worcester's Reliant Medical Group and Southborough Medical Group, has signed an agreement for VNA Network & Hospice Care to be the organization's preferred provider of visiting nurses.
As part of the agreement, the two organizations will coordinate various home health services and ambulatory care.
According to a press release, VNA Care Network and VNA Care Hospice are nonprofit organizations created by former VNA including the VNA of Central Massachusetts, Leominster VNA and Hospice of Central Massachusetts. The organization offers services that include IV therapy, disease management, wound care, fall prevention, geriatric care, joint replacement therapies and maternal child care.
Atrius is an alliance of six community-based medical groups that also includes Dedham Medical Associates, Granite Medical, Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and South Shore Medical Center. It represents 1,000 physicians serving nearly 1 million patients throughout Massachusetts.
