Atlantic Beverage Distributors, the food and beverage distributor based in Holliston, has signed a distribution deal with the manufacturer of a drink which claims to lower blood alcohol content.
Safety Shots Inc., a Florida-based wellness and dietary company founded in 2018, has signed a deal with Atlantic to see the company distribute Safety Shot products in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Safety Shot claims to be the first beverage and patented wellness product that lowers alcohol blood content by supporting the metabolism of alcohol, according to the company’s website. The company says the drink boosts clarity, energy, and overall mood.
"Partnering with Atlantic Beverage Distributors is a significant milestone for the Company," Josh Wager, Safety Shot's chief revenue officer, said in a press release issued by the company on Wednesday. "Their expertise in the beverage and spirits industry and dedication to working with specialty products align perfectly with where we want to take Safety Shot as we continue to grow and expand. We are confident that this partnership will enhance our distribution capabilities and help us connect with more consumers in the Northeast."
Founded in 1995, Atlantic serves as a distributor for a variety of beverage companies, including Hudson-based Medusa Brewing and Framingham-based Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing.
