Atlanta-based developer Wood Partners, which is constructing a high-profile apartment complex in Worcester, completed the purchase of a downtown block in Marlborough for another project – its planned Alta Marlborough mixed-use development.
The sales included 11 properties over more than five acres, according to a July 6 press release from O’Brien Commercial Properties of Concord. The brokerage’s President Eric O’Brien negotiated the sale.
In two transactions valued at $3 million, Family Auto Sales and Repairs sold its facility at 283 Lincoln St., and filtration equipment seller Koby, Inc. sold three mill buildings at 297-305 Lincoln St.
The Marlborough Economic Development Corp. sold the remainder of the properties for a price not disclosed by O’Brien. The deeds were not available yet on the Middlesex Registry of Deeds.
Alta Marlborough is a planned 276-apartment complex mixed-use development, featuring more than 10,000 square feet of retail space and an on-site parking garage.
Wood Partners is currently constructing the 370-apartment Alta on the Row in Worcester on Mulberry Street, the former site of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
