Athol Savings donates $22K to United Way
Athol Savings Bank said it donated $22,000 to the United Way of North Central Massachusetts in 2015.
Athol Savings Bank said it donated $22,000 to the United Way of North Central Massachusetts in 2015, according to a statement.
The donation will help improve quality of life for residents of the Greater Athol and Greater Gardner areas, funding programs in education, income and health initiatives, as well as food and utility assistance.
Funds have been allocated to divisions serving each region, after the 2014 merger of the Athol Area United Way and the United Way of North Central Massachusetts.
