The Construction Management Association of America has awarded a Project Achievement Award to the recently-completed Worcester Trial Court project.
The award recognizes excellence in construction management, the association said.
The 427,000-square-foot, six-level building was constructed by Gilbane Building Co. of Boston. It took top honors in the category of buildings, new construction, constructed value of more than $100 million from the CMAA. It was one of a dozen projects nationwide to win an award, out of more than 100 nominees.
The project was cited specifically for innovation, complexity, sustainability and on-time, under budget completion, according to the CMAA.
