A distributor of Southeast Asian food has purchased a warehouse in Milford after leasing the building for three years, the company confirmed Thursday.
The family-owned, New Jersey-based Sing and Singh Distributors has been operating a food distribution center at 53 Sumner St. since 2015 in order to expand its reach into the Northeast, but purchased the 30,100-square-foot warehouse last week for $1.85 million.
Hermanjeet Bakshi, whose family owns the business, said there are no planned changes to the building.
The company distributes food to supermarkets across the country, offers door-to-door delivery and catering services.
