Ashland Chooses New Electrical Supplier
The Town of Ashland has chosen ConEdison Solutions as its electrical supplier, becoming the fourth community in the state where ratepayers will use a competitive supplier instead of buying their electricity from the local utility.
Under the new contract, local residential and commercial customers will automatically be switched to buying their electricity from ConEdison. NSTAR, which runs the local electrical grid, will continue to deliver the power.
Customers can choose to opt out of the ConEdison program and switch to basic NSTAR service or another competitive supplier.
