Ashland biomanufacturing firm Boston Bioproducts will move to Milford following its purchase of a $5.65 million facility at 425 Fortune Blvd. in the town, the company confirmed on Friday.
The new facility is a 113,000-square-foot flex/industrial building, according to Nate Nickerson, senior associate O’Brien Commercial Properties Inc. of Concord, who brokered the purchase.
The sale closed on April 29. The seller was Natick corporation Fortune Four Twenty-Five, LLC, which is registered to Anthony Nasch of Framingham, according to the Massachusetts Secretary of State. The buyer was Karaneil LLC of Framingham, which is registered to a pair of Boston Bioproducts executives, Amita Sharma and Chandler Sharma, of Framingham.
It was not immediately clear on Friday when Boston Bioproducts move complete its move. The company was founded in 1995 by a group of scientists from Harvard Medical School in Boston and provides bio reagents and buffers to research labs, according to its website.
