United Cultivation, an Ashby-based cannabis company with an outdoor growing operation, is working with a California cannabis brand to launch its line of products in Massachusetts, as United prepares to open a third retail store.

United worked with Beard Bros Pharms, a multi-state cannabis advocacy and consulting firm, to launch the Beard Bros’ line of high-THC and high-CBD oils, according to a press release issued Tuesday. The products are now available at United Cultivation dispensaries in Ashby and Groton, as well as at dispensaries that buy products from United via the wholesale market.

“United Cultivation is thrilled to partner with Beard Bros Pharms,” United CEO Michael Spengler said in the press release. “Their commitment to quality and community aligns perfectly with our own values and we believe it will further enhance the cannabis experience for consumers in Massachusetts.”

United is one of the few cannabis companies in Central Massachusetts operating an outdoor cultivation site. In addition to operating dispensaries in Ashby and Groton, the company is working to open a dispensary at 476 Main St in Bolton.

Beard Bros Pharms has been operating in the cannabis space in California since 2011, according to its LinkedIn page. The business was started by two brothers, Bill and Jeff Levers. In addition to operating a cannabis brand, the company produces cannabis-related media, including podcasts and online video broadcasts.

“Growing up on the East Coast, as Jeff and I did, it just feels right to set roots in Massachusetts with United Cultivation. It is rare to meet folks, not only in cannabis but in any walk of life, whose ethos is so authentic as what we have experienced with this team,” Bill Levers said of United Cultivation in the press release. “The alignment of intentions is a powerful thing, and we look forward to working with United Cultivation to put as many people as possible on a path to better health and wellness.”
