Ascentria Care Alliance, a Worcester-based human service nonprofit, has named four new members to its board of directors.
Those selected include leaders from the nonprofit and private sectors, according to a June 16 announcement.
The new members of the 14-member board are Marybeth Campbell, executive director of the Worcester Community Action Council; Charran Fisher, founder and CEO of Fisher Contracting Corp. of Worcester; Brian Gibbs, vice president and chief equity, diversity, and inclusion officer at UMass Memorial Health in Worcester; and, Debora Jackson, a professor of practice and dean of the Business School at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
“Whenever you welcome a new member it infuses an elevated level of energy to the board,” said Ascentria CEO Angela Bovill, in a statement. “With the addition of these four professionals with their truly extraordinary skills, I expect Ascentria will benefit greatly as we strive to find sustainable solutions to problems the social services sector seeks to address.”
