Ascentria Care Alliance, a Worcester human services nonprofit that operates throughout New England, has appointed Kristine Hanscom to the position of chief financial officer.
Hanscom was most recently CFO and senior vice president at South Shore Health, a nonprofit entity. At Ascentria, she will be responsible for ensuring the financial health of the organization.
“Kristine possesses a comprehensive set of qualities that uniquely position her to excel in the role of chief financial officer. Her combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, ethical integrity, and commitment to our organization’s success make her the right choice to lead our financial team into the future,” said Angela Bovill, president and CEO of Ascentria in a Friday press release.
Ascentria is the second-largest human services organization in Central Massachusetts, as ranked by total assets, according to data collected by the WBJ Research Department, reporting over $125 million in revenue in 2022.
Jeanette Wade most recently held the position of CFO at the organization, as well as the COO position.
Hanscom is a graduate of Bentley University in Waltham.
