Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
A. My office has not felt new at all. From the very first day everyone has made my transition into this position a very easy one. It was the team work and congeniality that drew me to this position in the first place.

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. I am still in the induction phase of this position so it is hard to truly assess, but given the dynamic nature of the health-care environment and payment reform I am sure there will be hurdles. Having said that, I can’t think of any other entity that is better prepared than Fallon Clinic to face the upcoming changes without affecting patient care and provider satisfaction.

Q. What's your favorite thing about Central Massachusetts?
A. Fall. Anyone who has been here will attest to that!

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?

A. Not close at all. I was much more into liberal arts than sciences; however the patient care aspect and the ability to make a difference in someone’s life was what pulled me in this direction.

Q. How far is your commute to the office?
A. 20 to 25 minutes.

Q. What's the best way to keep your energy and motivation up when you're having a long day?
A. My motivation is providing better health in a seamless system to our patients. Any challenges I face in being able to achieve this goal is what energizes me. H
aving said that, there are times where meditation and yoga help me center my focus, especially after long, challenging days.

Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?
A. I’ve yet to discover it!

Q. Do you have any hobbies outside of work?
A. Anything that allows me to appreciate the world around us, be it arts, music, literature, etc. Getting creative with mundane activities for a 3-year-old is fast becoming a new hobby as well!
