Once again, Worcester's Armsby Abbey is considered the best beer bar in the state.
The Main Street bar, which features exclusively local and craft beers, was voted the best in Massachusetts for the sixth straight year in a survey by CraftBeer.com.
"Few beer bars have been recognized through this search as much as Armsby Abbey. We believe that speaks for itself, from the atmosphere to the beer selection that Armsby Abbey prides itself on," CraftBeer.com said. "In a state as beer-centric as Massachusetts, our readers say Armsby Abbey continues to lead the way."
CraftBeer.com said it received more than 7,000 votes last November and December from readers who were asked to name their state's best bar and what makes it so great.
Armsby Abbey has also won RateBeer's best bar for beer in each of the last four years, and has been named one of the best bars in the Northeast each year since 2012 by Draft magazine.
The bar lists 23 beers on draft and about 50 bottles, almost all of which are local or small craft brewers that are hard to find.
The bar at 144 N. Main St. is owned by husband-and-wife team Alec Lopez and Sherri Sadowski, who started Armsby Abbey in 2008. They also own Dive Bar and announced last month they'll be opening a Mexican restaurant in downtown Hudson called Conico.
This story was edited to reflect that it was six, not three, straight years Armsby Abbey has been awarded best beer bar.
