Area CFOs expect no new jobs in Q2
Looking ahead to the second quarter of 2008, chief financial officers in the Hartford/New Haven area are expecting little to no change in the job market.
That's according to a Robert Half survey of 200 area CFOs with companies with more than 20 employees. The majority, about 86 percent, expect no change in hiring in the coming months, and 6 percent anticipate reductions in personnel. The remaining 6 percent are predicting good news, expecting to add accounting and finance staff in the second quarter.
