Applix takes top spots on OLAP survey

Applix Inc. in Westboro has earned top marks on the On Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) Survey 6, an independent study analyzing why customers buy OLAP tools, what they use them for, and how successful they are.
Applix placed in the top three in two markers of customer satisfaction: customer loyalty and the Business Benefits Index (BBI). The company also took top marks for winning competitive product evaluations.
The survey also revealed that Applix rated among the top three vendors in performance, speed of deployment, and customer satisfaction.
Applix develops management software for nearly 3,000 customers to better manage their business' performance.
