Appleseed Visitor Center Set To Reopen

The Johnny Appleseed Visitor Center in Lancaster is set to officially reopen Thursday.
The center, which is along Route 2 West between exits 34 and 35, was closed for three months. The Johnny Appleseed Trail Association is planning a reopening celebration starting at 10 a.m. Thursday featuring prizes, giveaways and other promotions.
The center, which sees 160,000 visitors pass through its doors ever year, was damaged by fire in early November.
