Framingham energy services company Ameresco Inc. has acquired the businesses of California-based Energy and Power Solutions Inc.
EPS provides energy efficiency services for commercial, industrial and manufacturing companies through its proprietary software platform, xChange Point. The businesses will now operate as Ameresco Intelligent Sustainable Services and will remain in Costa Mesa, Calif.
XChange Point collects real-time energy use data from clients’ equipment and offers analytic tools to find potential savings.
Ameresco has been on an acquisition spree this year, buying Applied Energy Group of New York in July and APS Energy Services of Arizona in August.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
