Worcester County reported 26 new coronavirus cases and four deaths on Monday, according to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
The new cases in the county increased its total to 11,758. Statewide, confirmed cases increased by 190, which is the lowest recorded since March, bringing the total to 103,626.
Fatalities newly reported bring the total to 827 in Worcester County. Throughout Massachusetts, there were 38 new confirmed fatalities adding to the 7,353 total.
DPH also reported 5,040 newly administered coronavirus tests Monday.
The City of Worcester reported 13 new cases, which increased the overall number in the city to 5,031.
UMass Memorial Health Care and Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester report a combined 106 inpatient cases and 43 in intensive care. In total, the hospital systems have had a total of 304 patient fatalities, and 344 of their employees have tested positive.
MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham and Natick reported 31 confirmed and suspected cases, and Milford Regional Medical Center reported 12, according to DPH. The hospitals have had nine suspected and confirmed cases in the ICU. Harrington Hospital, Heywood Hospital, and HealthAlliance report 26 suspected and confirmed cases, and eight in intensive care.
Nationally, there have been more than 1.9 million cases and 110,876 fatalities, according to Johns Hopkins University in Maryland. Globally, there are now more than 7 million cases, and the death toll is at 405,002.
