Annual United Way Celebration Is May 8
The United Way of Central Massachusetts will hold its 93rd annual celebration on Wednesday, May 8, at Mechanics Hall in Worcester.
Registration begins at 4 p.m., followed by the program at 4:30 p.m.. It will feature Massachusetts Secretary of Health and Human Services John Polanowicz as the keynote speaker, as well as an award ceremony to honor those who have supported United Way’s mission as a charitable organization. Non-perishable food items will be collected to support the annual Letter Carriers Food Drive on May 11.
A reception will follow immediately in Washburn Hall.
