The Association of Independent Colleges and Universities in Massachusetts has named Anna Maria College President Jack P. Calareso to its executive committee of college and university presidents.
Calareso has been president of the Paxton college since 2007. He previously served as president of Ohio Dominican University and Briar Cliff University in Iowa.
Altogether, he has more than 20 decades of experience in higher education, including working in a variety of administrative positions and as a professor of theology and educational leadership.
Calareso has a bachelor’s degree from Boston College, a master’s from St. Bernard’s School of Theology in New York and a PhD from Marquette University in Wisconsin. He lives in Holden.
