Anna Maria College of Paxton announced that it is now offering an online bachelor of science program in business administration, an accelerated model that’s designed to cut the cost and length of pursuing an undergraduate degree in the field.
Anna Maria’s School of Business will begin offering the program in January, according to the college. The three-year program “significantly increases” affordability and accessibility for many students, Vice President for Academic Affairs Billye Auclair said in a statement.
“This high-quality option is designed for traditional high school graduates, as well as transfer students or those beginning their undergraduate studies following a hiatus after high school,” Auclair said.
The program requires students to take 30 courses, and students may take one course over five weeks, Anna Maria said. Enrolled students will take 10 courses a year.
“Given our program’s generalist approach, graduates will be well positioned to excel in most industries or their own entrepreneurial endeavor,” said David Forsberg, dean of the business school.
