Devens-based American Superconductor Corp. announced it will supply $70 million worth of wind turbine parts to a Chinese company.
The company, Shenyang Blower Works, will use the electrical control parts in production of turbines that were co-developed with AMSC.
The order is the largest electrical control system order AMSC has received to date.
AMSC developed the 2 megawatt turbine in 2008, and the first turbines are expected to be erected by March.
