Ameresco secures $1.8M Oregon project

Framingham energy firm Ameresco has secured a $1.8-million Energy Savings Performance Contract with the Silver Falls School District in Oregon.

This project will improve the interior and exterior lighting at 13 district schools, the district office and its bus depot. The project is expected to save $87,000 annually. Ameresco is also overseeing reimbursement of utility public purpose charges and the Energy Trust of Oregon making the project budget neutral with no impact to the district’s general fund budget.

The project is expected to be completed this year.
