Framingham energy services firm Ameresco Inc. made a $7.7 million profit on $141 million in revenue.
Compared to the same quarter a year ago, the company’s profit increased 348 percent and revenue increased 58 percent.
The company said greater demand for energy efficiency projects were responsible for the earnings increases. It signed on during the quarter to do its largest solar project to date.
For the first half of the year, the company made a $9 million profit on $247 million in revenue, 320 percent and 52 percent increases, respectively.
