Framingham-based Ameresco has boosted its revenue year-over-year by 7 percent in the second quarter of 2016 as it maintained revenues of 4 cents per share.
The energy efficiency and renewable energy company reported $162.6 million in revenue for the quarter. The company grew this through investment in project development, particularly in the federal segment, and the company’s renewable energy portfolio, according to a statement from Ameresco CEO George P. Sakellaris.
Net income for the quarter was $2 million, or $0.04 per share and was flat compared to the second quarter of 2015.
Sakellaris said that the company also accelerated it business development with $270 million of new project awards, up 43 percent over those booked in the second quarter of 2015.
