The Canadian subsidiary of Framingham-based energy efficiency and renewable energy company Ameresco Inc. has acquired a software firm to help expand Ameresco’s offerings.
Canada acquired Calgary’s FAME Facility Software Solutions Inc. Details of the deal were not disclosed.
According to Ameresco, FAME’s software allows customers to track their operations’ workflow and energy use, and the addition of the software to Ameresco’s portfolio will allow the company to expand its offerings to those charged with managing complex infrastructure projects. The broader offering will address comprehensive aging infrastructure challenges and offer asset sustainable solutions and strategies where capital funds are required, Ameresco said.
