Framingham energy services company Ameresco, Inc. announced Friday it has added a new member to its board of directors.
Thomas Murley, chairman and senior adviser to England-based HgCapital’s Renewable Power Partners Funds, was elected to the Ameresco position. He has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry and spoke on renewable energy to the United Nations in both 2014 and 2015.
Murley is replacing a board member who chose not to seek re-election from the company's shareholders..
“Having devoted much of my career to securing capital for renewable energy projects and working with investors in the renewable energy industry, I am excited to join Ameresco, which has a demonstrated commitment to innovative renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions,” said Murley in the Ameresco announcement.
