American Medical Response (AMR), which serves 40 states, has reached an agreement with Fallon Health to accept insurance from its customers, opening the door for AMR’s return to the Worcester market, it said.
The agreement with the Colorado-based firm means that Fallon customers will be covered for emergency and non-emergency medical transportation by AMR, it said.
AMR left the Worcester market two years ago but still maintained a station in the city, according to Erik Johnson, general manager of AMR in Eastern and Central Massachusetts.
