Akoya Biosciences welcomes GeneCentric founder to its board

Akoya Biosciences, a Marlborough bioscience company, has appointed Dr. Myla Lai-Goldman, who has worked extensively in diagnostics and is the chair and co-founder of GeneCentric Therapeutics Inc. of North Carolina, to its board of directors, according to a Wednesday announcement.
Lai-Goldman worked for almost 20 years at North Carolina testing company Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings (LabCorp) and its predecessor, Roche Biomedical Laboratories, Inc., said the release.
She also founded diagnostic consulting company Personalized Science, LLC, of which she is managing partner.
Akoya Biosciences uses single-cell imaging solutions to develop disease diagnostics and treatment responses.
