AIS, a Leominster furniture maker, has joined the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council’s Edge program as a preferred partner, the council announced on Friday.
MassBio Edge provides its members with a strong presence in the marketplace, allowing them to benefit from discounts and customer services that cumulatively provide the program’s 1,300 members more than $175 million in savings a year, according to a press release.
“Through the MassBio Edge, we are able to provide consultations to MassBio members that are looking to renovate a space, open a new facility, or provide a safer environment to those returning to the workplace,” Bruce Platzman, the president and CEO of AIS, said in a statement. “We believe in supporting the economy that supports us.”
MassBio praised AIS’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, and new employer needs for their returning workforce. The council specifically highlighted AIS’s tiered discounts, lifetime warranties, local dealer assistance and its 10-Day Quickship program.
“We’re thrilled to welcome AIS as a Preferred Partner and provide our members with the expertise and guidance they need to navigate through this new normal – and beyond – as they reconfigure offices to ensure the safety and wellbeing for their employees,” said Jason Cordeiro, Vice President of Edge Operations, in a statement.
