Allied Flooring, Paint, and Design of Agawam acquired locally-owned Leominster Floor Covering in Leominster.
Financial terms of the business acquisition were not disclosed.
The previous owners of the Leominster company as well as their three employees will remain with the company under manager Tony Montemagni, according to a Tuesday press release from Allied Flooring.
Leominster Floor Covering was founded in 2002, according to the businesses’ incorporation filing with the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth. The business at 539 Lancaster St. in Leominster was owned by Rob Szymkowski of Leominster.
“We are excited to expand our services into Central Massachusetts and look forward to becoming a trusted, active member of the greater Leominster community,” Allied Flooring Co-owner Mario Tedeschi said in the press release.“We will continue Leominster Flooring’s tradition of offering knowledgeable and friendly service at competitive rates, which aligns with our own business model.”
Allied Flooring has locations in Agawam and East Longmeadow. The company acquired Budget Cabinets in Agawam in September 2022 in order to expand its remodeling services.
