Aetna Inc. said today that it has acquired a Bermuda-based private medical insurance company. GoodHealth Worldwide underwrites insurance for expatriate employees – or workers who retain the citizenship of their employer country, but who work from a different nation. GoodHealth currently writes policies for about 55,000 insureds. The firm has 170 employees. Aetna said it is paying cash for the company, but did not disclose terms.
