Dignity Hospice Care in Framingham has been acquired by Art Kalenjian, the CEO of Advanced Home Care, a Massachusetts-based senior care provider. As part of the acquisition, Kalenjian will serve as the hospice center’s CEO.
The acquisition of Dignity Home Care was completed in late 2022, according to a May 17 press release from Dignity Hospice. Kalenjian founded Advanced Home Care in 2009.
“With this acquisition, we are able to provide a more complete continuum of care. Now, seniors in our community can also receive end-of-life support in the comfort and safety of home,” Kalenjian said in the press release.
Advanced Home Care, based in Framingham, provides a full spectrum of home care for seniors and specialty care for those with Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
The first patients at the newly acquired Dignity Hospice were able to access the new hospice program in May, according to the press release. No patients or staff from the previous iteration of Dignity were maintained.
