Advanced Cell Technology, which has operations in Worcester, has named Pedro Huertas as chief development officer.
Huertas will be responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s programs to create “novel stem cell-based therapeutics.”
Huertas comes to ACT from StemCells Inc., where he served as chief medical officer. His past experience also includes a stint at Novazyme Pharmaceuticals.
