Worcester-based AdCare Hospital announced on Thursday that it plans to consolidate its outpatient facilities in Quincy, North Dartmouth, and West Springfield into its Worcester outpatient office as of February 28.
The office at 95 Lincoln St. will be a centralized telehealth hub, according to a Wednesday press release from the hospital. According to the hospital, intensive outpatient treatment, early recovery groups, and individual and family counseling are among the many telehealth treatment services provided by licensed AdCare clinicians.
“Telehealth has become the new standard in substance use treatment and this will allow AdCare Hospital to reach all parts of Massachusetts, including those formerly beyond the reaches of each outpatient location,” New England Regional CEO Fred Trapassi said in the press release.
AdCare Hospital was founded in 1975 and offers inpatient and outpatient services for people suffering from substance use disorder through facilities in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
