Worcester’s AdCare Hospital has appointed a new CFO in Marcella Rivard.
Rivard joins AdCare from Steward Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, where she held the same position. She’s also been a financial executive at Harvard Medical Faculty Practice Group at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Hallmark Health System in Medford and for UMass Memorial Health Care. AdCare announced Rivard’s appointment on Sept. 18.
“We are delighted to welcome Marcella to AdCare and the American Addiction Centers System,” Jeffrey Hillis, AdCare’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “She brings significant industry/finance experience and an excellent track record for leading finance and operational teams.”
In addition to its main alcohol and drug treatment facility at 107 Lincoln St., AdCare also oversees a residential treatment program in North Kingstown, R.I., and outpatient centers in Boston, Dartmouth, Quincy and West Springfield, and in North Kingstown, R.I., and Warwick, R.I.
