AdCare Hospital, a Worcester addiction care facility, has received behavioral healthcare accreditation from the Joint Commission, an Illinois organization accrediting hospitals.
The commission’s gold seal affirms AdCare, which announced the designation Monday, has demonstrated compliance with performance standards and is committed to providing quality patient care in a safe manner. AdCare said the Joint Commission’s standards help it assess and improve its performance, particularly for treatment and services, care and screening procedures.
AdCare provides treatment at its Worcester facility and at eight outpatient offices across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
