AdCare Hospital has appointed Neil Gaer, former president of the Springfield-based SEG Consulting, as its new executive director of outpatient services.
Gaer has more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including a three-year stint as CEO of Washburn House in Worcester. He will be responsible for AdCare's outpatient services, which include mental health, addiction treatment, and primary care, according to the Tuesday press release from AdCare.
“We are excited to have Neil on board to augment and refresh the outpatient/telehealth services AdCare provides individuals and families throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island,” said Romas Buivydas, the CEO of AdCare Hospital, in the press release.
Gaer holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of New Haven, and a bachelor’s degree in human services from Springfield College.
Gaer will oversee outpatient services for AdCare Hospital in Worcester, West Springfield, Quincy, North Dartmouth and Warwick, R.I. AdCare Hospital was acquired by American Addiction Centers in 2018.
