Four North Brookfield commercial and residential buildings known as the "Adams Block" have sold for $1.1 million.
The four buildings sit on about an acre of land and were bought by the Gidopoulos family, according to Worcester commercial real estate firm Glickman Kovago & Co. The property was sold by Country House Realty, which had owned it for 20 years, said David Brasington, vice president of Glickman Kovago.
The 30,000-square-foot Adams Block is at 181 North Main Street in North Brookfield. It was built in 1900 and now houses several town offices including the police department and town assessors, as well as North Brookfield Savings Bank, North Brookfield Newsroom, McGrath Insurance and a number of residential apartments, Brasington said.
