Acton's Lanmark Controls acquired by Fla. company

Acton manufacturer of laser-marking hardware and software Lanmark Controls has been acquired by a Florida-based company.
Publicly-traded FARO, a provider of 3D measurement and imaging technology, announced the transaction Monday.
In a statement, FARO President and CEO Simon Raab called Lanmark’s technology a critical component of FARO’s future product development strategy after two recent acquisitions of other companies.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
