A company that provides mobile and telecom infrastructure products for smart phone networks and other applications will use equipment developed by Acton-based Azimuth Systems Inc. to test new broadband wireless systems.
Azimuth will provide MindTree with equipment for testing 3G and 4G smart phones, internet protocols, subsystems and base stations for WiMax and Long Term Evolution, or LTE, technology.
The company’s equipment allows companies like MindTree, an IT consulting firm, to perform automated, repeatable tests on communications technology.
