Acton Co. makes British cell phones better

British Telecom's wireless customers could soon say goodbye to dropped calls, low battery life and poor call quality thanks to Acton-based Azimuth Systems Inc.
British Telecom has started using Azimuth equipment to test its products.
Azimuth has a patented equipment testing system that is fast, automated and repeatable. The speed of the Azimuth system allows wireless companies to get their products to customers faster while improving wireless product quality, Azimuth said.
British Telecom is using Azimuth to test its Fusion and Wireless Cities mobile phones.
"Azimuth's thorough test coverage helps to ensure that uor customers receive a high level of satisfaction from BT's mobile phones and services," said Dave Hughes, BT director.
