A Needham firm has bought Spring Hill Commons, an apartment complex in Acton, for $8.4 million.
According to Boston commercial real estate broker CB Richard Ellis, Universal Realty Corp. of Needham bought the four-building, 105-unit apartment complex at 421 Great Rd. in Acton and plans to expand the development.
County land records indicate the complex was sold for $8.4 million.
The property includes 70,000 square feet of residential space in one- and two-bedroom configurations. Permits are in place for the construction of 18 additional units. The complex is about 94 percent occupied.
CB Richard Ellis represented the seller, Equity Residential, a private real estate investment trust located in Chicago.
