Eppinger, president and CEO of The Hanover Insurance Group in Worcester, was awarded the Chamber Advocate Award by the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce at its annual business meeting. The award is given to a company or an individual who has gone above and beyond normal business activities to support the mission of the chamber and promote economic development. Eppinger has led The Hanover since August 2003.

Pepper’s exceeded point category requirements necessary for green certification by an inspiring 38.7 percent, with efforts such as local honey cultivation and investing in a dishwasher that saves on water and electricity. Pepper’s was founded by Susan Lawrence 28 years ago.
