Chief operating officer, Vision Advertising, Westborough
Residence: Marlborough
Birthplace: New Jersey
Colleges: UMass Amherst, Framingham State University
Becker Collins was named Vision COO at the beginning of 2019, taking over day-to-day responsibilities from Founder & CEO Laura DiBenedetto. Now, Becker Collins essentially leads all aspects of the company, from developing and implementing clients’ marketing plans to running the office. Since her work with Vision began three years ago, she’s helped grow the business and increase staff size to the point where the firm moved into a new office in Westborough, doubling the size of the former Worcester office. After conducting a full operational audit on the firm, she instituted a system of checks and balances for reporting, time tracking, human resources, pricing, client relations and new product pricing. Last year, she maintained a 100% client retention rate for the first time in the firm’s history. She volunteers as an alumni representatives for FSU’s Emergency Grant Fund Committee, which selects applications for urgent financial aid. Becker Collins was one of two founders of the MetroWest Women’s Network in 2016 and served as the organization's first president, increasing profitability 250%. In April, she completed her first ultra obstacle course race, one of 90 women to complete the 35 miles with 10,000+ feet of elevation and 60+ obstacles, doing so in 14 hours, 16 minutes, and 45 seconds. – Profile written by Zachary Comeau
