He’s earned 10 New England Cable and Telecommunications Awards and is a three-time winner of the Telly Awards for news and sports coverage. Lacombe has been honored by the Worcester Area College Basketball Association with the Paul N. Johnson Award, for his contributions to the region’s basketball efforts. He taught social media journalism and broadcast journalism classes at Assumption College in Worcester. He co-hosts the “Friday Night Football Frenzy” and serves as an analyst for the station’s broadcasts of Worcester Bravehearts baseball, Holy Cross football and high school football game of the week. – Z.C.
